The Mallee Fowl Restaurant is a venue like no other, recognised by the Australian restaurant & catering awards as one of Australia’s best themed restaurants and featured on various travel shows.
The Mallee Fowl Restaurant is set in eleven acres of picturesque bushland and lies in the heart of the Riverland in South Australia, nestled within the beautiful Mallee countryside and located just five kilometres from the town of Berri. The restaurant has been designed to resemble an early settlement dwelling, with chooks, geese, emus, ducks, lyrebirds and many other Australian animals wandering the huge enclosure. The Mallee Fowl is a ‘must visit’ destination for locals and tourists alike, we hear this comment from customers over and over again! With it’s fascinating collection of eclectic Australiana paraphernalia it has earned the title of best themed restaurant in Australia. The Mallee Fowl Restaurant is the Riverland's longest running restaurant & is Australia’s only themed restaurant running 100% off the grid. We have a grassed arena area with a stage and hold many functions of live music. Also our outside huge wide screen with piped music holding many birthday parties, relaxed weddings, New Years Eve celebrations and so many other functions.
